PACKERS FIELD FUNDAY & SPRING CLEAN

Another Funday is taking place on Packer's Field. The previous two events brought together many residents and local people who value the local green space that is Packer's Field. It is hoped that the event on May 1st will build on what was achieved at the previous events to raise awareness of The City Academy plans to develop the field.

The Funday activities will start at midday and will include, football (for men, women and children), kids activities, cricket, softball, information stall (about Packers field and plans for the chocolate factory). There will also be music, food and more. The day will continue in the Plough in the evening with local DJ's. In addition there will be a 'spring' clean up of the field starting at 9.30 am. Come and lend a hand.
